GoldLink and Kaytranada have a good thing going. Listen To Brothers Childish Gambino + Steve G. Lover On ‘No Hookahs’

Cue air horns and gun shot. New Gambino with shots, kinda, fired at Tyga (who’s back with Kylie Jenner? Thought she might have been with PARTYNEXTDOOR?) andYoung Thug for their smoking preferences.

Personally, I can relate to this new track by Steve G. Lover III and brother Childish Gambino No Hookahs. I ain’t really about that hookah life, but hey, to each they own. In any case, we got some new Gambino, which is good news for hookah smokers and non-hookah smokers alike. The track was posted on Soundcloud by Gambino’s brother Steve G. Lover and is apart of his new project DJ Rhetoric Presents: Rich Black American. The song uses the same beat as the aforementioned Tyga and Young Thug track Hookah. Bino and Lover seem to be having fun as they ride the beat rapping about how they prefer swishers and vapers over hookah. The siblings have previously linked on the track Poke off the project STN MTN/Kauai. Bino has been busy as of late with the new show ATL coming to FX sometime this year.

In the meantime, get your coal and aluminum foil ready, or not, listen to and compare No Hookahs by Steve G. Lover featuring Childish Gambino and the OG Hookah by Tyga featuring Young Thug  below and check back for more Bino updates.

Soulection Radio Premieres Common’s New Single “Home” (prod. Karriem Riggins)

All signs are pointing towards Common returning this year with more than just a grip of new acting gigs. What seems like ages ago, Com sent out a flair via Instagram, hinting that he was back in the studio, this time with longtime touring drummer and Stones Throw producer Karriem Riggins, who’s been a part of some of the year’s most compelling offerings (including Kaytranada‘s “Bus Ride” and Kanye West‘s “30 Hours”.)

This past weekend, during No I.D.‘s Soulection Radio takeover, the final sendoff arrived with the premiere of “Home,” the lead single off what will be Common’s eleventh studio album, Little Chicago Boy. For those anticipating a triumphant return from The Windy City’s own, this here should have you resting assured. Straight flames, reminiscent of his classic Be. Hear the full Soulection Radio show down below, or if you don’t want to sit through two hours off blends before you get to it, jump to 1:59 in the mix to hear Common’s new single “Home.” Keep your eyes on us for updates on Little Chicago Boy, arriving, hopefully, by the end of this year.

Mndsgn Adorns Selah Sue’s “I Won’t Go For More” w/ Bubbly ’80s Cool On New Remix

Just in case you haven’t caught wind yet, Stones Throw’s Mndsgn is here and here to stay. Which brings us boundless joy, as the LA resident has been a fixture in our rotations over the last few years, starting with his label debut Yawn Zen, following through with what seems like countless remixes and recalibrations. Today, we’re happy to bring you yet another one (*cartoon Khaled voice*) as Mndsgn adorns Selah Sue‘s new single “I Won’t Go For More” with a rush of synths and Rhodes and timeless ’80s r&b cool. And best of all, it’s all here for your summer dial. See if you can’t shake Mndsgn’s remix of Selah Sue’s new joint down below and grab your copy of her latest record Reason on iTunes today.

One Dance Remix – Justin Bieber

Drake has consistently used his Beats 1 show OVO Sound to debut new music, and Saturday night saw him use the platform to unleash a pair of tunes.

He pegged Justin Bieber for a remix of “One Dance,” his dancehall-tinged single withWhizkid and Kyla. Bieber posted a picture of the Canadian flag to his Twitter on Friday (both artists are from the country – Drake from Toronto, Bieber from London, Ontario), while telling his fans to listen to the show. The song delivers, as Bieber adds new flavor and showcases the smooth, effortless vocals that converted many naysayers on Purpose, his latest album from last November. “One Dance” was already a highlight from Drake’s uneven Views, hitting number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and other charts around the world; this remix can ensure the song’s continued reign on radio and at parties this summer. Listen below:

Erykah Badu Strikes Again w/ A Remix Of Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Come And See Me”

It appears Erykah Badu is damn-near never out of surprises. Moments ago, Ol’ Green Eyes took to her Soundcloud page (something certainly worth monitoring these days) to share another one of her “trap&b”recalibrations. This time she takes on PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake’s slow-stirred and sensual collaboration “Come And See Me”; a perfectly sedated sonic specimen for Badula to do her damndest, lilting, crooning and ad-libbing affectionately over the Toronto duo’s hit. The track comes as yet another sneak-released remix from Miss Badu’s ever-expanding catalogue, having recently redone cuts by Wintertime and Kanye West. You can stream the latest Erykah Badu re-freaq below, just be sure to keep that ear to the ground as we never know when she’ll strike again. You can also catch Badu on the road this summer, the dates for which are listed just under the player.
